Yesterday was Jane Baird's 2nd birthday. Alan and I went into her room together and sang happy birthday to her; then we had breakfast together. We had Krispy Kreme doughnuts. We put candles on JB's Chocolate doughnut with sprinkles and sang to her again. After breakfast Daddy put her new Cozy Coupe together and she "helped" him a little. We spent most of the day at home playing with her new coupe and getting ready for her party...and cleaning house just in case the party needed to be moved to our house b/c of the weather. Jane Baird's birthday party was at Jasper Elite (the studio where she takes dance and gymnastics). We had the entire place to ourselves! We had a Yo Gabba Gabba dance party in the dance studio. Miss Emily and Miss Meagan lead the kids in dances and we played ring around the roses and blew bubbles. Next we went into the gym and had fun on the trampoline, rope swing and the giant foam pit. All the kids were having so much fun. Alan threw me in the pit and it was quite a workout trying to get out of that thing! Everyone had a good laugh about that. Next we had cupcakes (from Publix...I love their bakery)and opened presents... well, Hayes ended up opening most of her presents for her. After presents it was back to the gym to play with the parachute and to run wild for a few more minutes. We rented the place for 2 hours and used every bit of that time and a little more! It was a lot of fun! We had about 12 kids come including JB's best friend from school, Maggie. JB and Maggie walked around hand in hand...so stinkin cute! About the time we got home and unloaded two cars, a huge storm came. We had to go get in our closet. It was the worst hail storm I've ever been in. It sounded like a dump truck pouring huge rocks over our roof. It was scary! It lasted a long time and then it was over...and then it came back again! Our driveway was solid white. What a way to end the day! Jane Baird was supposed to have pictures today, but she has had a fever all day and hasn't been feeling well. Alan is at the doctor's office with her right now. She was actually feeling bad yesterday, but there was just too much excitement. We had to reschedule for Saturday. We didn't take a whole lot of pictures at the party b/c we wanted to have fun and enjoy it, but we have a few to share.

Hail on driveway after last night's first hail storm.

JB snoozing in our closet during the storm. Alan threw tons of blankets and pillows in the closet and it was really comfortable. We had to stay in the closet for a while during last night's storm. As we were decorating before the party, JB climbed up to the table to snack on some cheese puff while wearing her "DJ Lance" glasses. I just love this picture!
