A sneak peek from today's photo session with Grethel Van Epps

Jane baird was not giving out many smiles today at all. She was too busy playing with leaves and watching the cars pass by which she has never really seen before (busy street). I think she may have smiled once...on the way back to the car she was all smiles...isn't that how it usually works?

It's picture time again!

Jane Baird is getting her picture made this afternoon. I am so excited b/c we are going to one of the prettiest yards in Jasper this time of year. We used to live downtown near this house and every morning when I would drive by (in the fall) I would always admire the beautiful trees and think to myself that it would be a great location for pictures. I picked up Jane Baird's Turkey outfit this morning and she will wear it for her pics. The outfit is supposed to have a brown bow on each shoulder however, Jane Baird wouldn't stop chewing on them so I had to remove them. We will try it again with the bows at picture time but I'm guessing I will have to remove them again. Thank goodness they are removable!

Happy 7 Month Birthday to Jane Baird!!!

Another one of God's miracles

My cousin's 18 year old step daughter was in a terrible car accident last night. She fell asleep (I think) while driving 70 mph and crashed into an 18 wheeler. She was airlifted to Vanderbilt hospital and survived. I think she has even been released from the hospital. God is so good! Here is a pic of her car. It is truly a miracle that she survived this accident. Seeing this pic reminded me of Jane Baird's battle for her life a few months ago and her miraculous recovery. I'll say it again... GOD IS SO GOOD!!!

Ghouls just want to have fun!

I bought 3 huge pumpkins for Jane Baird's 6 month photo session with Grethel Van Epps and forgot all about them. They have been out on our back porch for a month. Today when we went to the pumpkin patch we got 2 more pumpkins. Alan is leaving town tomorrow so tonight was the only night to do pumpkins before Halloween. We invited Jack and Hayes over to help us out. We had fun but Alan and I did all of the work and 5 pumkins is a lot of work to take on! As I mentioned above, Alan is leaving for Kentucky in the morning. From Kentucky, he goes to Illinois and then back to Kentucky (possibly). Jane Baird and I will miss him terribly while he is gone. I am hoping and praying that he makes it back by Halloween...I would hate for him to miss Jane Baird's 1st Halloween.
