Tallulah's Breakfast

Our dog Tallulah loves eggs! She doesn't get them that much because we are not big egg eaters but last night while I was making dinner I noticed that we had a few eggs left in the carton that had expired. I decided that I would scramble her some eggs to mix in with her breakfast. I was going to try to get a picture of her eating them because it is so funny how she inhales them and she has bits of egg all over her snout when she is finished. By the time I had the camera ready she had eaten all the eggs and only dog food remained. Oh well!

Roll Tide!

The first Alabama game always falls on the weekend of Alan's birthday and we always go to the first game. This year the game was in Atlanta and we were just in Atlanta a few weekends ago and I just did not really feel like going back. Anyway we stayed at home to watch the game. I made all of his favorite foods for the game so he wasn't too upset that we didn't go. It was a great game. ROLL TIDE!

Baby Harbison

I went to the doctor on Tuesday for another checkup. (I have been going every 2 weeks instead of every month because I have had a previous miscarriage) I was a little nervous as always but everything turned out great. We got our first picture of the baby. The pictures I am posting are not good quality pictures because I could not get my scanner to scan them properly so I just took a picture of the pictures.

Shoe Fetish

Cowboy Jack trying to make Hayes look up for the picture. (I didn't tell him to do that) Last Saturday night Alan and I went to my parents house to visit Jack and Hayes. My mom was keeping them while Morgan and Chad were at work. Hayes has an obsession with shoes. He always wants to take my shoes off of my feet and them put them back on me. He will keep doing that over and over. Well Jack went in my dad's closet and got out his old boots. Jack wore them into the living room and Hayes just had to have a turn wearing them. He was so facinated with the boots that he wouldn't even look up for me to take his picture. It was so funny!

Good Hygiene

Today at school Mrs. Palmer (Jack's teacher) asked me to swing by her room to help her with a computer problem. I knew she wouldn't mind me bringing my camera in the room to take a few pictures of Jack while I was in the room. At first I didn't see him in the room and then I heard the bathroom door open and he and his friend Gabe went over to the sink to wash thier hands. They didn't even see me standing behind them taking thier picture. They are so cute!
Clean hands!

Weekend Trip to GA

Jack and I made this for his teacher, Mrs. Palmer I am not a scrapbooker however, I managed to get a little crafty while at Erin's new store. This is a picture of my 1st scrapbooking project. I thought it turned out really good for a beginner! We took a little weekend trip to GA this past weekend. Alan's cousin, Erin Waters opened up a scrapbooking store in Carrollton, Ga (right outside of Atlanta) and she had her grand opening on Saturday. She was very surprised to see us walk through the door (we didn't tell her we were coming). We were so impressed with her store! It looked so good and we are so very proud of her. Here are a few pictures from the grand opening.

My terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day that ended well!

Okay so this morning the rain was pouring down when I arrived at school. I had to park in a gravel parking lot off to the side of the school because I had to leave early for my Dr. app. (If I had of parked in my usual spot, I would have gotten blocked in by crazy parents picking up their kids from school.) I get out of my car and open my umbrella and it will not stay opened! I am so aggravated b/c I have a good ways to walk. So I have to hold the umbrella open with one hand while I carry my purse and school bag with the other. I start heading up a grassy, wet hill when my foot slips and my left flip flop breaks!!!! Cars are stopping to let me cross the street but my shoe is broken and I am embarrassed and don't know what to do so I just wave them on and wait for them to pass. I have to walk through the gravel with one shoe off and one shoe on while it is still pouring down. I finally make it into the school and go begging for shoes. It turns out that Susie Vance, a teacher at the school lives just down the road and she was able to call her son to bring her cute Yellow Box flip flops (that just happen to match my outfit perfectly). They were size 9 and I wear size 7 but I didn't care--I was just grateful to have them!!! Thanks Susie--you saved the day. Well I knew it was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good very bad day and it just so happens that this was the day of my Dr. appointment. This was a very special appointment b/c I was supposed to find out if I was still pregnant and if so, was there a heartbeat (If no heartbeat, I was going to have to have a D&C to remove what ever was left of the pregnancy). I just knew that my day was going to continue to go south. Well much to my surprise we saw a heartbeat and we heard it too!!!!!!!! I was so happy that tears began to roll down my face. Alan and I were holding hands during the ultrasound and we were both squeezing so tight. The tiny heartbeat was about the size of a grain of rice and it was flickering. You could barely see it but we could sure hear it. After the ultrasound we talked with the doctor in his office. He said everything looked great for now, but anything could happen--it's still early. He also said that this baby was going to be the most photographed baby in B'ham. I'm only 6 weeks and I have already had 3 ultrasounds! I have to go back for my fourth ultrasound in two weeks. He also wants me to continue to take the prometrium to keep my progesterone levels up. Alan and I will finally get a good nights rest tonight knowing that everything is ok for now. Thank you for all of your prayers and please keep them coming!

Not so Good News :(

Ok so I went to the doctor yesterday expecting the worst but hoping for the best. The ultrasound did not pick up a heartbeat. I am measuring 6 weeks but I am 100% certain that I am not that far along and maybe that's why there is no heartbeat. Even though we did not see a beating heart, the ultra sound showed that my sac has grown. It was about the size of a dime last week and now it is much larger. That gives me some hope. Anyway I have to go back to the doctor next Tuesday for another ultrasound to see if there is a heartbeat. The doctor said that I would need a D&C if there is not one. I am trying to stay positive. Please keep me in your prayers!
