Thereare those moments when your child says or does something really cute or sweet or makes you really proud and the video camera is in another room. You try to get your child to do it again and it just isn't the same...

Last night we were discussing the meaning of Easter with JB. We read a story and watched a video on Youtube that helped tell the Easter story to young kids. JB was very interested. This morning JB and I were talking about it and JB says, "Jesus is risen! Hallelujah!" It was so sweet and I was proud. Well, we made several attempts to recapture that sweetness.

Happy Easter!!!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays and today has been wonderful! Our day began with a wonderful service at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. The children had an egg hunt following the service. We then went out for lunch with Alan's family. After lunch we came home and prepared for our annual egg hunt. My family came over and we hid empty eggs for the kids (they all have enough candy to last them until Halloween). I stuck money in one egg and that was the "golden egg." My mom, dad, and Alan hid the eggs while I entertained the children. The children then scattered to hunt for eggs. They came in to open all of their eggs to see who found the money. JB found it! She wanted to put it in her piggy bank to save it. The kids rode their bikes and played on JB's swing set. After the boys left JB crashed on the couch with Daddy. This evening we our going to my parent's house for Easter dinner.

HAPPY EASTER!

Cottontail Express!!!

Another fun-filled day! We road the Cottontail Express at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum. JB was so excited to be riding a "real" train. We rode out to a winery for an egg hunt and some games. It was a beautiful day!
