The Harbison Family: Sick Baby :(

Sunday was another fun, beautiful day. We went to see Cameron and the kiddos at my parent's house. We played outside for a while. It was a real treat to get to spend time with Cameron. He's a senior in high school and has a social life so we don't get to see him very much (even though he lives less than an hour away). He got accepted to the University of Alabama recently so he will be moving to T-Town this fall...we'll see him even less when football season begins. Jane Baird wasn't feeling to well Sunday evening. She kept wanting to sit in my lap and cuddle which (unfortunaltely for me), is not her norm. We just thought her new in-coming teeth were bothering her. As the night went on, it was really evident that she wasn't feeling well. We put her to bed about 7:00. Two hours later she woke up screaming so I ran in to check on her and she was burning up. I took her temp (as soon as I could get her to calm down) and it was 102! It was probably higher than that, b/c she wouldn't let me get a good read. Anyway we immediately called the nurse on call and anxiously awaited for her to return our call. While we waited, Jane Baird was whimpering and shivering and had chill bumps. She was so pitiful. (I forgot to mention that she vomited a couple of times too.) It just broke my heart to see her like that. She finally fell asleep and we moved her to her bed. I stayed home with her today. She woke up with a fever this morning, but it wasn't as bad as last night. By 8:00 am today, she had no fever and was playing with her toys. She took a 3-hour nap today and is still a little cuddly (not complaining AT ALL), but she's feeling much better. I'm pretty sure it was just a 24 hour bug. Pics from the weekend...
