Upward Basketball

Jack wanted to play Upward basketball so badly last year and he did not get to. This year, he signed up and has been talking about his first game since the beginning of December. His first game was supposed to be last Saturday, but was canceled b/c of the weather. Jack had his first basketball game this morning at FBC. Alan had to work so Jane Baird and I went to watch Jack play. Jack looked like he was having lots of fun out there on the court. Jane Baird and I sat in in a corner of the gym where she and Hayes could play together. Jane Baird enjoyed herself. She was amazed at the little players running around the court and the loud buzzer that kept going off. She started getting a little restless towards the end so thank goodness the game only lasted about 30 minutes. She fell asleep on the way home.
