September 2012

September is always a busy month. Alan and Jack's birthday is September 3rd and it usually falls very close to Labor Day and Alabama's first game of football season. The fair came to town, JB went to her very first Bama football game, Mule Day and our annual church worship and picnic out at Camp McDowell all of which we look forward to each year!

Riding a rollar coaster at the fair.  Look at her scared face!  We rarely see that expression b/c she is so fearless most of the time. Precious!

JB helped decorate Daddy and Jack's birthday cake
 So proud of these 2's!!!
I babysat Jack and Hayes one night.  We went to DQ for some cool treats
Jane Baird wanted real dancer hair.  she calls it "wearing a bone" in her hair.  I never could figure how to make a pretty bun until I found a bun maker in Claire's

Monthly trip to the zoo

JB's very first BAMA game!!!  Lunch at Mugshots before the game.

The bus ride to the stadium.  JB was sooooo excited to ride the "school bus" (it was a trolley).  She looked up at me and said in her sweetest, most excited voice, "Mommy!  It feels like I'm in kindergarten because I'm riding on a school bus and I don't have to ride in a car seat!!!"  That was the highlight of her day.  All the other passengers on the bus got a big lick out of that.  It's the little things that make us happy :)

St. Mary's Episcopal Church Annual picnic at Camp McDowell

super scary bridge!
 Our hike to the waterfall

I picked JB up from school early b/c she had a high fever...ear infection :(

 Getting ready for church

JB inherited this dress from her cousin Reese.  I remember my sis giving this dress to me when I was pregnant.  I loved it but knew it would be forever before she would grow in to it...forever came too quickly!
