Saying good-bye is so hard. Jane Baird didn't cry, but her mommy and daddy did. Although we've done this 7 times in less than 2 years, it never gets any easier. Ashley (nurse) came to bring the wagon back to our room after taking JB to the OR. She said that she didn't cry until she was put on the table and the OR team started hooking her up with those EKG thingamajigs. I can't imagine how scary that was for her :(
