Prayers and Butts

Okay, the title of this post is cheesy, but I thought it might get your attention. When Jane Baird began preschool last March, a very special person came into our lives--Mrs. Jenny. Mrs. Jenny has loved and taken great care of my sweet baby. Jane Baird loves her very much and she is very special to our family. Mrs. Jenny's husband, Roger, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. He will be having brain surgery at the House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles on November 11th. To help pay for the trip out to California and medical expenses, they are selling Boston Butts for $30. The Boston Butts are already cooked and will feed a bunch (not exactly sure about weight). If you are interested, please leave a comment or send me a FB message. The money is due by November 10th and they will be ready for pick up November 13th. Please keep Jenny and Roger in your prayers!!! Jane Baird and I were home on Columbus Day. It was "fall break" for me. Alan called to tell me that "the magical trees" were ready. I texted Grethel to tell her the leaves had changed colors and she was like "Yes! I'm here right now with my kids!" So I told her I could be there in 15 minutes if she would wait on me. We had pics made last year to the trees and I wanted some this year too. Of course JB wanted to run towards the street and be difficult, but GVE was able to snap a few good ones before she tired out. Here are a few fall pics by www.gvephotography.com Aren't the colors amazing?
