Water, water everywhere!

Jane Baird and I got home from school and Daddy was home! Its a rare occasion when Daddy beats us home so we were excited to have him early. We were going outside for an afternoon stroll and to take a few pics. Today was her first day wearing pigtails so I wanted a pic of that for sure. While "side" (outside), Jane Baird discovered her shadow and started following it. It was so cute. She followed it to the neighbors house. Our neighbor, Katy and her 3 year old daughter Molly Kate, were outside playing in the sprinkler. Jane Baird has never played in the sprinkler before so I let her explore. She LOVED it. She played and played in the water. She wasn't dressed to play in the water, but I had to let her! She was just having too much fun and I wasn't going to be the party pooper. We eventually ended up going home to put on a swim suit and a to grab a towel and then returned for more fun in the water! The pigtails survived the entire school day! running around in the front yard Looking for her shadow Discovering the sprinkler 2nd trip through the sprinkler Look at that chub!!!
SOME PICS FROM THE WEEKEND
Jane Baird kissing Daddy through the glass. Crazy hair after her nap on Sunday! Sleepy girl Jane Baird loves to be "side" (outside). We let her run around in the yard Sunday afternoon. She's really into steps these days. The edge of our driveway as about a 6in step up onto the concrete and she would step up and then step down over and over again. And she doesn't like any assistance. If you try to hold her hand she will jerk hers away...Miss Independent!!! She's learned to march!
