More experiments with food

This may not seem like a big deal to most, but its a huge accomplishment for Jane Baird... Sunday night we at at my parents house for dinner. Since we had been experimenting with different foods, I decided to take the experiment a little further. I made Jane Baird a plate of food and handed her a spoon. This was the first time Jane Baird had ever eaten a whole meal of table food that hadn't been pureed (besides the pancakes). On her plate she had English peas, baked beans, potato casserole, and homemade bread. She worked on that plate of food for more than 45 minutes, but she almost finished the entire plate! The beans and peas were the hardest for her to eat because she's not great at chewing so a lot of that ended up in her lap. Nevertheless, I was to proud of Jane Baird. She's come a really long way. I love that she lays her sippy cup down in the middle of her plate ;) Look closely at Hayes' hair...he cut it himself!
