Easter Weekend

Jane Baird just loves to be outside and Easter Sunday was a beautiful day. We planned a picnic in the park instead of having a tradition Easter dinner. It was such a relaxing way to spend the afternoon. Jack and Hayes had fun pushing Jane Baird in her car and the adults enjoyed relaxing on our blanket under the shade trees watching the kiddos play. I was up late fixing Jane Baird's Easter basket. It was so pretty and everything was arranged just so. Well, we were up in the middle of the night with Jane Baird causing us to get up late so we didn't have time to do her basket before church. We needed that basket for the egg hunt at church, so I had to dump it all out. We had other baskets, but that was the one that matched her dress. I had to fix it again for her after church, but it was kind of just thrown back in there. Oh well, Jane Baird didn't care how it looked. She just wanted those Wonder Pets! She also got a really cool set of blocks. Her preschool teacher said that she loved playing with their blocks so we informed the Easter Bunny and he brought her some. She got lots of yummy snacks too!
