Fun Day!!!

We went to Birmingham today to celebrate Hayes' 3rd birthday. First we did a little shopping. Then we met the family at Sumo for some Japanese cuisine. The kids LOVED it! Jane Baird was just in awe of everything. It was so funny to watch her facial expressions when our cook was putting on his little fire show. She would also clap for him every time he looked in her direction. Everyone was so nice and they even came out with a huge drum and sang the American version of Happy Birthday and then a Japanese version. They also brought out this boat made out of a pineapple. Hayes was so excited. After Sumo, we went to iJump. That was a blast. They have a room just for kids 3 and under. The whole room is full of gym mats in all shapes and sizes. They had a ball pit too which Jane Baird loved. She played in that room for almost 2 hours. Alan and I both enjoyed that play time with her. Here are some pics from today... (I'll post more tomorrow!) Before we left for B'ham, we spent some time playing outside. It was such a beautiful day and it's been a while since we have enjoyed the sun and warmer temperatures.
