More Pumpkin Patch

We had a fantastic weekend!!! On Saturday we got up early and headed to Birmingham. I had a few things that I needed to do so Alan was my driver. He would drive me up to the door and let me run in the store while he sat in the car with Jane Baird and then he would drive up to the door to pick me up. I am having to start on my Christmas shopping early b/c I am not able to get out much. Before we left Saturday morning I prepared a list of some things I wanted to get for Jane Baird so I hit Target and Babies R Us and got everything I needed in 45 minutes! We then headed to meet up with my nephew, Cameron. He was taking the ACT Saturday morning so when he finished, we took him to lunch. It was his first time to see Jane Baird since she has been out of the hospital. He is a senior this year and has a busy social life now so we don't get to see him lunch. It was nice to catch up with him...even if it was just for a few minutes. My last stop was Sam's. I needed a large box of diapers but unfortunaley they were out of her size...she is wearing a size 2 now! Oh well, better luck next time. Alan wanted to be back home for the 2:30 kick off so we had to leave by 1:30. We made it back and watch the game together. Later on we watch the Mississippi State game and were excited to see it was close...for a few minutes anyway. Jane Baird was watching it too. She LOVES football. I'm not just saying that either. If she hears an announcer's voice on tv, she will be glued to the tv. ***If any one of my local family members is heading to Target any time soon, let me know (if you wouldn't mind doing me a favor). There is a toy that was on my list and the Fultondale store was sold out. It was on sale for a great price so I got a raincheck*** Today was beautiful! We have been wanting to take Jane Baird to the pumpkin patch but didn't want to go at a time when it would be crowded. We went today at noon and we were the only ones there for a while which was GREAT! We had such a great time. Jane Baird had fun too although its hard to tell by the pics. She was fascinated by the leaves, straw, and grass. It was so hard to get a good pic of her b/c she was either playing in the grass or the sun was shining too bright. Oh well, we tried to get some pics! As we were leaving lots of people were were entering the pumpkin patch. I am glad we went early and avoided the crowds. Checkin out the animals. She liked the chicken the best! Staring at the scarecrows. She was fascinated with the pumpkin heads on them. Hanging out in the bouncy thing...she was the only kid there so we wer lucky! Chillin on the hay ride... Jane Baird first face painting. She sat so still and was such a good girl. After she had her face painted, she wanted her hand painted...she was so proud of her pumpkin!
Looking for that perfect pumpkin!
