Jane Baird says her first word!

This evening Jane Baird's cousins came to visit. Jane Baird was really fussy because she had not taken a good nap all afternoon. She starting fussing so I was holding her trying to clam her and she cried "mama!" I swear this is true...Jordan heard it too! Jane Baird finally settled down to enjoy our company. Samantha read her a story from her reading book and Jane Baird really seemed to enjoy it. She loves looking at pictures and she seems to take it all in. The story held her attention for about 5-10minutes...that's a pretty good attention span! When the girls left Jane Baird was so tired that she fell asleep on the floor before we had a chance to move her to her bed. I figured that she would wake up again before calling it a night and sure enough, she did. When she woke up, she had carpet marks on her face! It was so cute so Alan grabbed the camera (see last two pictures).
