Magic 96 Radiothon for Children's Hospital

Every year a store in B'ham called Ticia's Baby Station puts on a sale to help raise money for Children's Hospital. I am all for helping out CHS b/c they have done so many wonderful things for us, including saving our baby's life :-) Anyway while I was there on Monday the man at the counter asked if I would like to make a donation to CHS for a chance to win a beautiful Christmas tree covered in ornaments. I was like absolutely! I told him that I knew first hand what a great hospital it was and that my daughter had just spent 34 days there. He said he was going to be on the radio (Magic 96.5) on Thursday morning and would I mind if he mentioned JB. Of course I didn't mind at all. I wrote down the info for him b/c I wanted him not to forget. Jane Baird and I laid in bed this morning listening to the radio and around 8:45 the store owner, Scott came on the air and mentioned us. He got the number of days wrong and didn't mention her name, but that's ok. He mentioned how great the nurses in the NICU were to us and I am so happy about that...they deserve recognition!!! The radiothon for CHS is going on for the next two days. If you are in the giving spirit, CHS is a GREAT charity to give to. You can go online to Magic 96.5 website and donate.
