Jane Baird has felt pretty good today, but I still think she may have a cold. Today while she was napping she started coughing and coughed so hard that she threw up. The nurse told me if that happened, I would need to call the office. I waited to see if it would happen again...it did this evening so I called. They told me if it happened 2 more times I would need to take her to the Children's Hospital emergency room. I do not plan on going there--she would surely be sick after visiting that place with all the sick kiddos! Tonight I left JB with Alan for a few minutes while I ran to CVS to get batteries for her swing. When I got back, Alan had a look on his face like he had a rough time without me. He said she fussed the whole time I was gone (I hate it for Alan, but glad she likes me so much :-) Anyway she was fine when I got back. It's like she knows if I leave the house which doesn't happen often...if I'm in another room and she can't see me, she is fine. If I leave the house, she somehow knows it and gets fussy. Alan bathed her and then she fell asleep in his arms while I was talking on the phone. It was so sweet.
