My new camera has arrived!!!

After waiting 7 1/2 hours for UPS, my camera was finally delivered! I bought a Canon EOS Rebel XS (a.k.a. 1000D) SLR Digital Camera Kit with 18-55mm IS Lens and a Canon Normal EF 50mm f/1.8 II Autofocus Lens. I played around with it all night and took some beautiful pictures of my neice and nephews (and my gorgeous daughter too). I was so excited to upload them tonight and post them to my blog. As you can see, there are no pictures here tonight...that's b/c there is an error with my memory card! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was an almost brand new 8GB memory card. I just bought it last month. Anyway thankfully we have a good supply of memory cards (when we went to Hawaii we were afraid we would run out of space on the memory cards that we had so we bought extra). I'm glad the problem is not with my new camera. I will try again to get more pictures tomorrow.
