Brooke's Bridal Tea

Today Jane Baird and I went to Brooke Holderfield's (Alan's cousin) bridal tea at her church. She got tons of really nice gifts. I think it was like 3 or 4 car loads full of stuff. Alan and I are so happy for and wish Brooke and P.J. lots and lots of happiness. The tea started at 2:00 and Jane Baird and I arrived fashionably late. We had a great time visiting with friends and family and eating really good food. Their family always does a good job with the catering. We had such a good time that we stayed until after 8:00 (6 hours)! Jane Baird was so good and wide awake for the majority of the day. She got passed around a lot and probably enjoyed seeing faces other than her mommy's. Brooke and PJ bought a really nice house in Rolling Meadows and it just so happens to be right next door to her mom's house. Jane Baird, cousin Erin and I all rode out to see the house. It was adorable! Brooke will have lots of fun decorating. I can't wait to see it after she get moved in and settled.
