More from Hayes' 3rd Birthday Party

Hayes had a Diego cake (he calls Diego "Eldo") and the folks at Sumo also brought out a pineapple boat.
Hayes was so excited about everything!
We finally made it to iJump. When we arrived to the toddler play area, Jane Baird headed straight for the mirrors...I think she takes after her Aunt Morgan on that one:)
Then she discovered the tunnel. Crawling through tunnels is her new passion!
She had a blast when I rolled her around in the tunnel!!!
Playing with Grandma and Pops
Hayes joined Jane Baird in the ball pit. She absolutely loved playing in the balls. She learned to throw a ball while in the pit. I think she has a pretty good arm! Oppsy Daisy! She fell head first in the balls. She got up and laughed about it.
Oopsy Daisy! She fell again...
Sitting in a chair like a big girl!
We loved iJump!!! Jane Baird smiled and laughed the entire 2 hours we were there. We will be going back there for sure...maybe for her birthday which is coming up next month!

Fun Day!!!

We went to Birmingham today to celebrate Hayes' 3rd birthday. First we did a little shopping. Then we met the family at Sumo for some Japanese cuisine. The kids LOVED it! Jane Baird was just in awe of everything. It was so funny to watch her facial expressions when our cook was putting on his little fire show. She would also clap for him every time he looked in her direction. Everyone was so nice and they even came out with a huge drum and sang the American version of Happy Birthday and then a Japanese version. They also brought out this boat made out of a pineapple. Hayes was so excited. After Sumo, we went to iJump. That was a blast. They have a room just for kids 3 and under. The whole room is full of gym mats in all shapes and sizes. They had a ball pit too which Jane Baird loved. She played in that room for almost 2 hours. Alan and I both enjoyed that play time with her. Here are some pics from today... (I'll post more tomorrow!) Before we left for B'ham, we spent some time playing outside. It was such a beautiful day and it's been a while since we have enjoyed the sun and warmer temperatures.
