A visit with Granny Great

We went to visit my sweet grandmother on Saturday. We try to make the 4 hour trip at least once a month. Grandma is 92 years old and is in good health. She is a super special lady and we love to go for visits. Growing up, we spent every Christmas with my grand parents until my oldest sister married and had Cameron (18 years ago). Now that we are all married with children, we go for a visit the weekend before Christmas and spend Christmas at home.

My beautiful grandmother! She HATES to have her picture made and would probably come after me if she knew her pic was on the internet for everyone to see! I just love this picture :)

We had a wonderful visit with Grandma a.k.a. "Granny Great." I would tell JB, "Take this to Grandma." and she would take it to my mom (who she calls grandma). Grandma (Granny Great) said we should call her "Granny Great." So I said "Jane Baird, take this to Granny Great." and she knew exactly who to take it to!

On the way to Mississippi, we were in another car accident. Someone rear-ended me in my brand new car. I was very aggravated because I've only had my car for about 3 weeks and now I have to have it fixed. Back in September a coal truck backed into my car and it was in the shop for almost a month. Oh well! I'm just thankful that no one was hurt. Both JB and Hayes were in the back seat. A few seconds after the crash, Jane Baird said "UH-OH!!!"
