One year ago today...
This was our life one year ago ...
One year ago today was the absolute worst day of my life. It was Jane Baird's 4 month birthday and the day that the Children's Hospital Chaplin was called to speak with Alan and me. We were told that our sweet baby girl might not live through the night. It was three days after her surgery and she aspirated into her lungs. She was put on to an oscillator (a super high frequency ventilator) to keep her alive.
Jane Baird has had a fighting spirit since the day she was born and wasn't about to let some aspiration bring her down. She fought the fight of her life an won. Praise GOD!
Today is Jane Baird's 16 month birthday and she has made a full recovery :)

Even though I was no where around and did not know you that well I will never forget that day when I found out. She is one tough cookie and so is her mommy and daddy. I am so happy when I see pics of her today. You would never know what that little baby had to go through.
Hope your yard sale went well. By the way, I have been meaning to tell you my grandma is living in the Country Manor close to your subdivision. She has been there about a month and 1/2 now. She usually does not know us but it has helped take a huge load off my mom caring for her. Anyway, talk to you soon!
Prayers were answered. Thank God!!
Praise God! I can't believe a year has passed, Jane Baird is more beautiful than ever and I know she is such a miracle and a blessing to you and Alan. What a strong little girl!
This gives me chills!! Jane Baird is such a blessing. She's a TRUE miracle. I was lifting up silent prayers for your family that day. Yall didn't know me yet, but I felt called to PRAY. So glad that our God is mighty and hears our prayers!!!
