Merry Christmas!!!

I just love Christmas time and have been really looking forward to Christmas this year. I am so thankful that Jane Baird, my sweet, beautiful, daughter is healthy and here with us to celebrate. Alan and I wanted to make sure she had a wonderful Christmas and we bought her tons of stuff. We couldn't wait to watch her open her presents! It's really easy to get carried away, especially with all that we have been through in the past 9 months. I would say that we did go a little overboard this year and probably bought more than what she really needed, as most people do. This has been the best Christmas ever! Jane Baird enjoyed opening her presents. She got tons of stuff...now we have to find a place to put it all!!! We unloaded the car when we got home tonight and brought some of her new things into the house. I wanted to get a pic of some of her toys she got for her very first Christmas so we could remember it always.

And that's just some of what she got...

After a few minutes of playing, it was off to bed for Jane Baird. As we put her to bed, we sang happy birthday to Jesus. Afterall, Jesus is the reason for the season. Today we celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ, the tiny babe that was born in a lowly manger in the little town of Bethlehem. Jesus Christ, the light of the world the Son of God, was the greatest gift to all mankind. I always want Jane Baird to remember the true meaning of Christmas.

More Christmas pics to come!
