Jane Baird's 9 month appointment

Today was Jane Baird's 9 month appointment. She has also been sick with a nasty cold so Dr. Farr checked her over real good and told us that she had the RSV virus. That was NOT what I wanted to hear. RSV can be really dangerous for babies with respiratory problems so we are praying that she can fight this virus off without any hospitalization. Anyway, she was too sick for any immunizations or flu shots, so we will have to go back to get those. Dr. Farr wants to see us again to listen to her lungs to make sure they are getting better and not worse. Please keep her in your prayers! Although Jane Baird has been pretty sick, she has been acting like her normal, happy self. She has her moments when she doesn't feel well and wants Mommy to hold her, but overall she is her normal self, which is comforting to me. This was one of the moments when she just wanted Mommy. She weighed 19 lbs! She is in the 50% for her age.
