I don't update my blog nearly enough these days...I'm going to do better! Anyway we are taking a short trip this weekend. My cousin is getting married so we will be leaving for her wedding this afternoon. We have about a 6 hour drive ahead of us. I am hoping that Jane Baird will do well in the car. The longest trip we have been on is a 4 hour drive to my grandmother's house in MS. We are excited to get out of the house for a weekend and leave J-town behind for a couple of days. My big sis, Reagan and her family will be there so it will be so fun to spend a little bit of time with them. We only see them twice a year b/c they live 8 hours from us so this is a treat for us :) even if it is just 1 full day with them. We are leaving this afternoon and coming back on Sunday :( Packing for a trip with a baby is a lot of work! I can't imagine what the Duggar's go through when they pack for a trip. I'm so glad I don't have to pack for 18 kids and counting! Anyway Jane Baird decided to rise before the sun this morning (which is actually a blessing on a day when I have so much to do before noon) and while she is napping, I'm going to do as much as possible...after I get this blog updated :) I have a "to do" list a mile long! Here are a few recent pics... This is how she is supposed to be positioned in the swing. This is how I found her when she woke up. She had completely turned her body sideways and her head was hanging off the side. Thank goodness she was buckled in! Jane Baird chillin in mommy and daddy's bed. Look at that hair! That's what it looks like after wearing a hairbow. It stays that way until I wash it. It's too cute! Jane Baird will be crawling before long. She is always up on her knees and now she even sleeps that way. (Excuse the mess around her. She fell asleep while playing with her toys) Ok. When I left Jane Baird, she was on the blanket with her pink overalls on...when I came back into the room about 2 minutes later, she had scooted out of her overalls! (They were unbuttoned at the shoulders b/c I had just fed her) She is a mess :-) I watched Jane Baird sleep for a few minutes last night. She was all over the place. She was up on her knees on the opposite end of the bed where I put her with her head in the corner of her crib. She was up on her knees trying to scoot. She is a wild women in her sleep!!!
