Happy Birthday Alan and Jack!

Today is Alan and Jack's birthday. Alan was born waaaaaaaaaay back in 1976 and Jack was born in 2002. I have been with Alan every birthday since his 18th. I remember back when Jack was born. Alan and I had just gotten engaged and we were on our way back from Savannah, Georgia when we found out that little Jack would be coming soon. Alan said on that Sunday night, "Maybe he will come on my birthday!" I really thought he was coming on Monday, Sept 2nd. Finally he arrived early on a Tuesday morning. It didn't click with me right away that he and Alan shared a birthday. This morning I took some balloons and candy by the school for Jack on his special day. He was excited to get them! Morgan took cupcakes and juice boxes for his whole class to have at break. I hope he is having a wonderful day. Alan is having to work today :-( I think that everyone should get to have the day off on their birthday...and get paid for it. Everyone's birthday is special! We are all going out to eat tonight to celebrate. It will be so much fun. We can't wait. Hopefully I will remember to takes lots of pics!
