There's nothing like waking up to the sounds of men hammering on the roof at 7:00 am when you had planned to sleep to 8:00...ugh! We just can't get rest no matter how hard we try!!! We went to visit Jane Baird this morning. She was in a great mood!!! We enjoyed spending the morning with her and part of the afternoon. We didn't want to leave when visiting hours ended. She was almost alsleep when we left and she needed to rest. We went back to our apartment to eat lunch and work on consignment clothes. Every year there is a huge consignment sale in Florence called Dittos for Kiddos (http://www.dittosforkiddos.net/). My friend, Dusti introduced me to the sale and we have been planning on being consignors at this sale since February. Well the sale is next Friday and we are stuck over here in B'ham. Jane Baird is having surgery next week so I don't know how comfortable I would be leaving her even if it is just for one evening. I am still consigning some clothes so I had to tag them all so that Dusti can drop them off on Saturday for me. Alan helped me hang and tag all of the clothes this afternoon. It took about 2 hours to sort through and tag everything. I didn't think we would ever finish! We headed back over to the hospital at 5:00 this evening to see JB again. When we got there, there was a sign on the door that the visitation was temporarily suspended b/c there was a very sick baby that needed special care. We are not allowed to ask who or what, but we saw the father of the child go in. We felt so bad for him...we knew exactly how he felt b/c we were in that situation not too long ago. Since we couldn't go in, we headed out to eat an early dinner. Visitation had resumed by the time we got back and the baby that needed special care had survived but is still very sick. Please say a prayer for this sick little baby girl. I don't know her name or what's wrong with her, but she is very sick. She is in bedspace #6. Alan's parents came to visit tonight and also our good friends Dusti and Michael. They all got to see Jane Baird awake and smiling! It is so nice to get visitors! Thank you all for coming all this way to visit with us. My parents are coming to visit tomorrow and we are looking forward to seeing them! This pouty pic is for Missy :)
