Good News!

I just called our nurse practitioner and got some good news. The esophagram showed no leaks! The OT said that she saw that she was aspirating into her lungs so they thickened the barium. She was able to drink the thickened barium solution with no trouble. The doctors solution is to thicken her formula with rice cereal. This will keep us from being discharged at the beginning of next week, but wo are so thankful that there wasn't a leak. Thank you, God for answering our prayers!!!
