Jane Baird is sleeping in her own room tonight...maybe

Ok so when I took Jane Baird for her last appointment Dr. Farr said it was a good time to get JB in her own bed. Well of course I had an excuse for waiting a little while longer. It's not that I didn't want to, but my big sis was in town and we would be spending every waking moment visiting with them at my parent's house and would be off schedule a bit. So the next week my excuse was that the monitors weren't charged up yet. I used that same excuse for the few weeks that followed. I decided that tonight it the night! Alan's TWO alarm clocks have been waking her up in the mornings (yes, he must have two alarms and he snoozes for 30 minutes so every 5 minutes an alarm is going off) I have been dragging the last two days b/c JB has been waking up with Alan's alarms. Alan has to be at work at 5:00 in the morning so that means at 4:00 his alarms will start going off and every five minutes after that they will go off until he finally decides to get up at 4:30. Well that is just a little too early for me and JB to get up so that's how I came to the decision that tonight is the night. I put her in bed at 10:00. She is not sleeping in her crib yet...she is sleeping in the little Pack-N-Play crib that she has been sleeping in beside our bed since we brought her home. I moved the Pack-N-Play into her room beside her crib so that she would get used to being in her room. She kind of fussed a little when I put her down and about 10 minutes later she was kind of fussing again but her eyelids were getting very heavy. I'll update tomorrow to let you know how she did! In this pic you will see that she already managed to get her arms out of her blankets. She won't sleep well unless she is wrapped up really snug w/arms in blanket so I had to re-wrap her after the picture was taken. Also she had already spit the paci out...that's ok b/c she usually doesn't sleep with it at night...that's great for me b/c I don't have to get up to put it back in her mouth in the wee hours of the morning.
