Back to school...but just for a visit :)

Monday night I ran to Winn Dixie to get a few things and as JB and I were leaving the store, I saw one of my students walk in with her dad. I called her name and she turned and stared at me for a minute like she wasn't sure who I was (I was wearing no make-up, had my hair in a ponytail, and was wearing my workout clothes). When she realized who I was she ran up and shouted, "Dad, Look! It's Mrs. Harbison!!!" Everyone in the store turned to look. I got the biggest hug ever! I realized how much I miss my sweet first graders and decided that it was time to pay them a visit. Jane Baird and I visited my class this afternoon. It was so nice to see them. They were more excited to see me than they were to see Jane Baird. That made me feel good:) I love them and miss them. Some of them asked me when I was going to come back and be their teacher. I was sad to tell them that I wasn't coming back until next year. I miss them terribly but my time at home with my sweet baby girl is so precious to me.
