Good News at the Dr. Appointment!!!

Everything at the doctor's office went very well. I ended up seeing Dr. Orso because Dr. Damrich ended up in the hospital with kidney stones. Anyway I loved Dr. Orso! Highlights from my appointment:

• Dr. Orso said my cervix looked like a healthy, pregnant cervix
• I am five weeks pregnant (despite what my counter shows)
• They were able to see the sac during the ultra sound but I am too early to see a heartbeat

I go back to the doctor August 5 (a week from today) and they will be checking for a heartbeat which should be present by week 6. If they see a heartbeat, my chances of miscarrying drop significantly!!! Please keep me in your prayers.

Tomorrow is the big day!

My first appointment with my OBGYN is tomorrow. I am hoping and praying that my pregnancy is progressing normally and I get a good report. I am sooooooo nervous!!! Please say a prayer for us. Unfortunately Alan will not be able to make it--his mean old boss is sending him on a job in Florida:( Thankfully Alan's mom volunteered to go with me so I don't have to go alone. Thanks Gloria!

My First Dr. Appointment

I called the doctor's office this morning to make an appointment. Usually they want you to wait until 6-8 weeks before you come in. Since I have had a previous miscarriage they went ahead and made me an appointment. My first doctor's visit will be Tuesday, July 29th at 3:30. I am praying that everything goes well and they we are going to have a healthy pregnancy.

Big News!

I'm pregnant!!! We just found out last night. I am super excited. I took two different tests last night and both gave positive results.
